Crave in The Netherlands Crave is presented at De Brakke Grond, Amsterdam. The director is Marcus Azzini, staging is by Dries Verhoeven and lighting by Marcel Schmalgemeijer. The actors are Stefan Rokebrand, Kirsten Mulder, Sanne den Hartog and Astrid van Eck. The actors are Efi Dementi, Emily Randall, Géhane Strehler, Pola Anton, Rebecca Pownall, Tessa Nicholson, Tracey-Anne Liles. The director is Daniel Goldman, the producer is Jana Manekshaw, the production stage manager Kirsten Turner, lighting by Lawrence Stromski, design Margaret Krawecka and sound Adan Doran. "A dynamic new chorus production of Sarah Kane’s last play... 4.48 Psychosis is Sarah Kane's brutal and poetic exploration of a mind preparing to shut itself down. Spiked with gallows humour, Sarah Kane's fifth and final play charts the journey of mind and body; from darkness into light, from pain into love, from life into death." Benjamin Davis in Time Out (8-15 Mar 2006) says "A chorus of seven women chime with Kane's beloved (Greek) themes (love, death, sacrifice)... Director Daniel Goldman has done a fine job of creating an uncomfortable, essential experience".
It is on at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London. Click on the image for more details. Thanks to Jana for the information. |
