The restored version of Ken Russell's The Devils premiered at the Cannes Film, and will be part of the New York Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the London Film Festival and then released internationally.

USA
  • 26 September 2026 New York Film Festival (NYFF). See separate post for details
  • There are "sneak previews" in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Chicago, Portland, Nashville and Boston ahead of the theatrical release
  • in Los Angeles present the film on 5 October 2026 (Egyptian Theatre) and 6 October 2026 (MUBI Theatre @the Aero)
  • Harris Theatre, Pittsburg Cultural Trust, 15- 22 Oct 2026
  • 16 October 2026 is the theatrical release in more than 85 venues.  Warner Bros have released a schedule below (from here https://x.com/clockwork_wb

Italy.  Cineteca di Bologna will present the director’s cut of The Devils (I diavoli|), screened for the first time on 35mm film.  This is part of the Il Cinema Ritrovato festival  from 20–28 June 2026.  The cinema website is here (in Italian and English) https://ilcinemaritrovato.it/ .
