Title: Not Ready for Trapped Ashes
Post by: BoyScoutKevin on November 09, 2016, 08:23:23 PM
I did say that I was going to watch Ken's last film, Trapped Ashes. His last film, except for a couple of short subjects, except watching the trailers for it and reading the reviews, I don't think I'm up to watching it quite yet.

Not a bad film from what I have seen. It just seems so mediocre, which is something of a disappointment, considering how much directorial talent is involved in it.

It does have a couple of highlights (IMHO.)

1st if features Henry Gibson who was the poet laureate on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in.

And 2nd, it looks like Ken's career has come full circle. When he was a cadet in the British merchant marine, he staged drag acts at the school he was attending at the time. And now, as I understand it, he appears in drag in the film.

Thus, something he did for the TV series Monitor.

Next time: Always on Sunday
