Why BV is better than LOTWW.
BV earned back at the box office the cost it took to make it. LOTWW did not.

Why LOTWW is better BV.
LOTWW is the bolder film. There are no child characters harmed in BV, while LOTWW has a child character that is sexually assaulted, then murdered, while he is taking a bath in the tub. In a scene that should not work, but . . .?! does.

LOTWW is less confusing than BV.

LOTWW is better edited than BV. BV may be more confusing than LOTWW, because several scenes that may have made BV less confusing were edited out of the final version of the film.
