Desert Island Discs is a BBC radio programme, running since 1942. Each week a celebrity has to imagine he will be standed on a desert island, and what 10 records would they want with them.

He is also allowed a book- Ken chose The Prelude by William Wordsworth, and a luxury item- a quart of brandy. You are also allowed a bible (or other religious text) but Ken refused this.
