The director is Doug Rollins.
"A wild storm shakes a small East Anglian seaside village and sets off a series of events that changes the lives of all its residents. The constant presence and the ebb and flow of the sea provides the back drop for Edward Bond's comedy set in the Edwardian period of 1907. THE SEA is a fascinating blend of wild farce, high comedy and biting social satire. It has been described as a cosmically inclined neo-Chekhovian romp on a par with the current west end revival of SAVED."
