"Worst: Women and Men: Stories of Seduction
Normally Russell can get an acceptable performance out of the most mediocre actors, but he can't do anything with the cast in his segment of this film."

Agreed, it is painful watching

"Worst: The Music Lovers
Swan Lake. It is too static, but he'd get better in his later films."

I like it, I also like that swans on the water also seem to be dancing

"Best: Women in Love
I don't think there is even one scene in the film that goes on a second too long."

Agreed, a good adaptation of the book (which is very long and covers generations) and good directing

Cast
Best: Tommy
Probably his most distinguished cast.
Worst: Women and Men: Stories of Seduction
Normally Russell can get an acceptable performance out of the most mediocre actors, but he can't do anything with the cast in his segment of this film.

Choreography
Best: Lisztomania
Where he out Busbys even Berkeley.
Worst: The Music Lovers
Swan Lake. It is too static, but he'd get better in his later films.

Editing
Best: Women in Love
I don't think there is even one scene in the film that goes on a second too long.
Worst: Valentino
There are scenes that just seem to drag on interminally.

Ending
Best: Lair of the White Worm
Maybe not his best, but one of his most memorable with a unexpected twist at the end that works.
Worst: Salome's Last Dance
Also memorable, but for an opposite reason of that one in "Lair of the White Worm." The ending in "Salome's Last Dance" just does not work.
