Steven Berkoff discussion / Dog/ Actor at the Edinburgh Festival
« Last post by Iain Fisher on August 09, 2022, 12:17:55 AM »
Threedumb Theatre present two one-man Berkoff plays, Dog and Actor from 4-26 Aug 2022.

"Two hilarious and explosive plays written by Steven Berkoff, performed back-to-back by the same actor. Dog follows a day in the life of a racist football hooligan and his beloved pit bull terrier Roy, who changes his life. Actor is a spoken-word monologue which delves into the heart of the acting industry, humorously and poignantly portraying the trying life of a struggling artist. Without the use of any set or props, Dog / Actor presents a masterclass in physical theatre and comedic storytelling, promising a thrilling theatrical experience".

Savage Messiah: Ken Russell / Re: Music Videos by Jon Sorensen
« Last post by Jon Sorensen on July 08, 2022, 03:25:33 PM »
Hi, Iain,
Hope you are all well. Am bringing out a bio book on 21 June 2023. Reminiscent of Derek Jarman's "Dancin Ledge" in feel, it will range across the part Ken played in my life, also working with John Boorman, Ridley Scott, Jim Henson, my experiences in film to include my own projects. My travels, and my life in supernature and the paranormal, which has followed me since my somewhat mystical Scottish childhood. Called "Imagine", I do hope this may be of interest, and I send you all my very best for now and a wee smile. Do take care of yourselves. In the spirit of Ken, keep your sense of wonder!
