Russell seemingly likes to use mirror images in his films and across his films. Oh, I don't mean the images you see in a mirror. Though, he uses those, too. I mean contrasting characters that are the opposite of each other.

Which makes me wonder, was Russell thinking of Cousin Kevin in "Tommy," when he named the boy scout in "Lair of the White Worm" Kevin. Of course, it could be because of the line in the film "Me mates call me, Kev." But then, he could have called the character Richard, then the line would have been "Me mates call me, Dick." Now there is a phallic joke if I ever heard one.
