Title: Berkoff opens theatre
Post by: Iain Fisher on May 06, 2009, 08:27:48 PM
Steven Berkoff is helping to restore a theatre.

The Westminster Theatre in London was burnt down in 2002, with only the dressing rooms left.  Steven is now working to restore the theatre.  If plans are approved it will become a 350 seat theatre with a 100 seat restaurant.  The idea is that the restaurant pays for the theatre.  On 14 May 2009 the proposals will be assessed by the authorities.

If it goes ahead Steven will be the theatre's patron.
