I think that line is definitely related to Waiting for Godot.

Another quote which I think is not on the list is CĀ“s "his blue blue eyes full of the sun" (when talking about "the handsome blond fourteen year old" - page 176); this line could be related to OsborneĀ“s Look Back in Anger (Faber edition, page 44) - Alison says "His eyes were so blue and full of the sun" when referring to how she saw Jimmy in the past.

Yet again I'm not sure if this should be posted here, but I have another quote for Crave as well, that isn't listed on the quotes page. On p 182 (bottom) C says "nothing to be done". Now I know this is a seemingly common combination of words, but it is also a repeated line in Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. And to me that line gives a definite association to Godot.
