Chichester Cinema are showing the film Falls the Shadow: The Life and Times of Athol Fugard on 17 Aug 2025.  Recommended.

"To celebrate Fugard's life and work, Tony Palmer made the first ever profile of this incredible man whose energy showed no sign of diminishing well into his 80s. Palmer plumbs the soul of Fugard through interviews with the playwright and those who knew and admired him, as well as presenting excerpts from some of his most significant plays".

Tony Palmer will also be present after for a Q&A session.

Just saw it, the full 2 hour 19 minute version, Sky Arts will show a shorter version.  And I managed to buy a DVD of the film, signed by director Tony Palmer.  I doubt it is commercially available yet.
