Spammers have now started registering as members.  I have deleted them, but to avoid this in future I have added an "activation" email to the registration process.  When you register you will receive an email, click on the link in the email and you are ready.

If there are any problems just send me an email

Lots and lots of spam recently.  Thanks to those of you who reported it.  Generally it is gone within 12 hours (morning and evening) and often earlier if I am logged in.  I could make the site moderated but I don't want to, as I want people to be able to post what they want.

This discussion forum gets a lot of visitors which means it also gets spam.  The spammers are a mixture of humans and computers.  I prefer not to moderate discussions (which would mean messages would only get posted after I clear them) so there will be spam messages on the forum.  Generally these are removed within a maximum of 12 hours, but often they go much faster.
