Old Battersea House (A House in Bayswater) is here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFZlBYJ0_uY

It has never been on DVD. Quite a beautiful film, it shows compassion for the people and Ken's usual vibrant imagery.

More soon.

"Are not available." Does that mean the films are lost and now should be considered "lost films," or does that mean that they are not available in a format that can be viewed, and one day may be available in a format that can be viewed?

As for "Diary of a Nobody," when did any author like the way that their story or life was portrayed by Russell? Though, he often made their story or life more interesting than it actually was.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

To make a start, the bad news.  As far as I know the following are not available on DVD, video or to download
- Lourdes
- Portrait of a Goon
- Lion's Mouth (I have a copy but I can't copy it, sorry)

There are legal issues around Diary of a nobody.  I saw it at the BFI, but that was an exception.  The estate of the authors of the book on which the film was based have banned further showings of the film, because they did not like the way it was filmed.  However is this still the case? The book was published in 1888-1892 and the two authors died in 1912 and 1919.  The book can't still be in copyright.

I'll cover the rest this week.

Hi Ilia,

Good to hear from you.  I'll get back in a few days with those online films I know about, and I am sure others will add more.
