Suprises me that Ken get only that mention, given how much Logue did with Ken- writing Savage Messiah and acting in The Devils (a magnificant performance as Cardinal Richlieu), Dante's Inferno  and Prisoner of Honor.

Oddly enough, the only mention Ken gets in Christopher "Savage Messiah" Logue's autobigoraphy, is about this. IIRC Logue's mother reminds him that "your friend" burnt down the portsmouth pier making one his "dirty movies"

Yes, it does, but what a picture it made as it burned.

"The previous summer the ageing enfant terrible film director, Ken Russell, had filmed The Who’s rock opera Tommy in the Portsmouth area, infamously burning down South Parade Pier, Southsea, in the process."

It does make it sound like Ken poured petrol over the pier then set it alight.
