This applies solely to "Lair of the White Worm," but it can be applied to other of Ken's films as well.
One thing I like about his films is that they are so full of ideas, that no matter how many times you see them, you can always spot something new or have someone show you something new, as in this.
As pointed out in an article on Ken's film, not only does Lady Sylvia change her cars, but she changes something else, which symbolizes the snake, and that is her nylon stockings. She first starts out wearing . . .
white
then black
then brown
and then blue.
And as postulated by the writer, each color represents something.
white=life
black=death
brown=the earth
blue=the sky
None of which I thought about, till I saw the article on the world wide web.
