Thanks Iain for sharing the link to the Shelagh Delaney Monitor film.  Of all of Ken's early Monitor films (prior to Elgar) that I have seen this is my favorite.  Very imaginarily shot and edited for what was essentially an interview.  Thanks again.

Shelagh Delaney, the subject of Ken's 1960 Monitor film Shelagh Delaney's Salford, has died.

A playwright she gained fame with her play A Taste of Honey.  Russell regular Murray Melvin appeared in the premiere production as well as Tony Richardson's film.  Lindsay Anderson also filmed one of her stories as The White Bus
