This is Farout Magazines's view of the greatest sci-films
10 Reanimator. A film I never really liked
9 Scanners. Classic early Cronenberg, with Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner)
8 Altered States by Ken7 Cube. Nice idea but I didn't think it stood up for all the film
6 28 Days Later. A string of classic films- Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, Slumdog, but Danny Boyle seems to have lost it a bit (or I haven't seen later hidden gems)
5 Videodrome. Same Cronenberg category as above, with James Wood and Debbie Harry (Blondie)
4 Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978 version). Good film, remake with Donald Sutherland was also good
3 The Fly, Cronenberg remake. Don't really like, I like the original with Vincent Price
2 The Thing, John Carpenter remake. A classic.
1 Alien, also a classic as is Aliens
