RADA present Phaedra's Love in London from 28 May 08 Jun 2013.

It is directed by Iqbal Khan, with design by Florence de Maré.

"Phaedra’s Love is Sarah Kane’s brutal and sinisterly comic vision of an ancient tale. The crown prince Hippolytus is bored, lethally bored. His stepmother, Phaedra, is distracted... Her husband left long ago after their marriage night to fight the wars and a clawing longing breeds within her... The consequences of this ‘love’ may burn the royal house and the streets without."
