In 4.48 Psychosis, when she writes "A tab of pain / Stabbing my lungs / A tab of death / Squeezing my heart" - anyone has an idea what the "tab" means here?

Isn't it the same as tad, so a small amount, as in "do you want a tad more milk in your coffee".
