(sorry to those I would Choke...)
It's actually killing me. But I'm facing censorship.
It's not even for Blasted, Cleansed or Pheadra's love. It's for 4.48 Psychosis.
The problem is that I have to cut the "f**king" text. I've got to pull out of the play as many "vulgarity" as I can. It's killing me. And I don't know how to replace or well cut this word, "f**k" and his other faces.
Even though to me the meaning of those words are clear and they are so full of sense that I cannot take them out of the play, I'm in front of censorship. And I'm doing a job of "replacing/cutting" with my english-as-a-second-langage.
I have ideas. But I don't know how to replace them all.
Actually, the part were it is written "f**k you for...", I can easily (but with a deep sadness) replace it by "I hate you...". But I'm still in front of a problem in sentence like "I've been sitting in the f**king waiting room..."
Do you have any idea for a solution that would keep the meaning of the play?

who's "bleeding all the f**king love and life out of" her...

Sorry that this site also (automatically) censors, f u c k is changed to f**k. This is to stop the site being categorised as a porn site by some regional search engines (as has happened).
But the meaning of your email is clear.

"I've been sitting in the f**king waiting room..."
What about:
"I've been sitting in the bloody waiting room...". It is also a swear word, but it is less "harsh" than f**k. But I feel as much pain as you do at having to change the text.
Anyone else have a better alternative?

thank you so much
I'm actually working on it with my supervisor of project, and so... well... it sometime changes the meaning but I found interesting way to "censor" the text (well... "interesting" it's a big word... let's say some good alternative...) like to use those words as a "under-text" for the actor, something that he will use to express the words...
it's an important thing of the Kane's theater that has to be cut, but I don't have the choice, and so I hope it will not affect the result...
