Just watched Blue Blood, a film from 1974 with Oliver Reed. Not recommended, a poor film with poor acting, but imdb.com states under "trivia" that in Italy it was promoted as a sequel to The Devils.
Other than Oliver Reed there is no connection, it is more like a poor copy of The Servant with Dirk Bogart with supernatural elements added, not very convincingly, Hammer Horror style.
