... no change of heart. The DVD release by BFI Video has just been classified by the BBFC and confirms it is the original British cut of the film. Oh well, small mercies I guess: it's 2.35:1 widescreen and not the US version...

It's great news (of a sort), but again thwarted in the release of the Directors Cut. Does anyone know what approaches the BFI (surely trustworthy enough for Warners to release the full version through) made to Warner Bros? Let's hope between now and next March there is a change of heart...

Holding my breath, but this seems really good news.

A pity it will not be the full version, but if one of the extra's is Mark Kermode's documentary then that would be great.  I seem to remember that Ken did one commentary and Vanessa Redgrave another.

But lets see...
